Wine & Whatnot: Quilted Laptop Bag

Featuring Fashion Designer, Jordan Bigelow

EndedFolk Quilts Studio

Class Description

Join us for a fun, creative evening with Pittsburgh-born fashion designer and visual artist Jordan Bigelow, founder of A Loved 1. In this special Wine & Whatnot session, you’ll sip, stitch, and sew a chic laptop bag—perfectly sized to fit a 13” laptop or sketchbook. Jordan’s designs are rooted in her deep connection to the African Diaspora, bold color, and the storytelling power of fabric. She learned to sew from her grandmother, Evelyn Parham, and has been bringing prints to life ever since. Jordan’s approach to design is intuitive—letting each print “speak” to her as she creates—and that same spirit shines through in this workshop. Whether you’re new to sewing or an experienced maker looking for a social evening in the studio, this class is beginner-friendly, hands-on, and full of good energy. You’ll leave with a beautifully constructed bag and a renewed sense of creative confidence. Participants should bring their own fabrics and basic sewing tools. A limited optional materials kit is available for purchase to help simplify the preparation process. 🍷 Sip, stitch, and celebrate handmade creativity—space is limited, so reserve your spot early!
