Class Description

Experience the joy of quilting with teaching artist Sharon Sales, who discovered her love of quilting 25 years ago and has been hooked ever since. Paying homage to the traditional Snake Trail pattern, dating back to the 1910s, this three-session beginner-friendly class invites you to create a bright, cheerful lap quilt top full of movement and playful curves. Sharon will guide you step by step through curved-piecing techniques, helping you turn scraps into a cozy, serpentine design that feels alive with color and rhythm. Whether you’re new to quilting or trying curved blocks for the first time, Sharon’s approachable teaching style ensures you’ll learn, have fun, and gain confidence in every stitch. By the end of the three sessions, you’ll have a completed 36" x 45" quilt top, ready for quilting and finishing either at home or in a future open studio. SPACE IS LIMITED—register here to reserve your spot. BRING A FRIEND! For individuals with limited income, systemic barriers, or financial hardships, a partial community scholarship is available upon request.
